This works very well, especially for someone, as myself, who has small eyes and it is difficult to hold both eyelids with just one hand. Using this stand makes it so very much easier to insert the extremely large Scleral Lens. A similar piece of equipment offered at my doctor's office sells for $399.00 ~ ~ and it operates the exact same way at this much more affordable product. This works very well, especially for someone, as myself, who has small eyes and it is difficult to hold both... Very Helpful Scleral Lens Aid
I have great difficulty inserting my scleral lens every day, and I had to rig up a contraption to help me. (Clear plastic bowl with flashlight inside, sit plastic tube on top of bowl, insert rubber tip into tube, fill lens with saline, bend over, pray). This does the same thing, but better, and it is more stable and has a smaller footprint for travel. I highly recommend it. It is a lot of money, but it is so worth it.
I got my lenses in on the FIRST try!!!! They had bubbles due to my learning curve but on my second attempt I got them in bubble free! It felt like an absolute game changer
I was about to give up on my lenses. This process can be so challenging and I had gone weeks without getting my hard lenses in my eye, despite hours of trying.

It has made my mornings and living with keratoconus so much easier.
