This works very well, especially for someone, as myself, who has small eyes and it is difficult to hold both eyelids with just one hand. Using this stand makes it so very much easier to insert the extremely large Scleral Lens. A similar piece of equipment offered at my doctor's office sells for $399.00 ~ ~ and it operates the exact same way at this much more affordable product. This works very well, especially for someone, as myself, who has small eyes and it is difficult to hold both... Very Helpful Scleral Lens Aid
I have great difficulty inserting my scleral lens every day, and I had to rig up a contraption to help me. (Clear plastic bowl with flashlight inside, sit plastic tube on top of bowl, insert rubber tip into tube, fill lens with saline, bend over, pray). This does the same thing, but better, and it is more stable and has a smaller footprint for travel. I highly recommend it. I didn’t think the LED light would matter much, but it absolutely does. The soft amber glow helps me line things up perfectly without hurting my eyes. Especially helpful early in the morning or at night.

Before buying this tool, getting these lenses in has been so frustrating! Reading others reviews made me pull the trigger in buying this. First day, took about 4-5 try’s in each eye. 2nd day, first try in both eyes!
