This works very well, especially for someone, as myself, who has small eyes and it is difficult to hold both eyelids with just one hand. Using this stand makes it so very much easier to insert the extremely large Scleral Lens. A similar piece of equipment offered at my doctor's office sells for $399.00 ~ ~ and it operates the exact same way at this much more affordable product. This works very well, especially for someone, as myself, who has small eyes and it is difficult to hold both... Very Helpful Scleral Lens Aid
I have great difficulty inserting my scleral lens every day, and I had to rig up a contraption to help me. (Clear plastic bowl with flashlight inside, sit plastic tube on top of bowl, insert rubber tip into tube, fill lens with saline, bend over, pray). This does the same thing, but better, and it is more stable and has a smaller footprint for travel. I highly recommend it. This device is a game charger if you’re new to scleral lens . My very first time wearing any form of lens, it took me about an hr at my doctor’s office to insert 1 lens. I did my research and found this product. Best decision have ever made.
This was a game changer! I have scleral lens & had them for several years. They could be pretty fussy to insert at times. I have no issue with coming close to my eyes.When I tried this product it was like magic!! Easy to insert, no discomfort at all,no bubbles & took less than 5min.at the most to put them both in.
